What Is
Work
Placement ?

Work placement refers to a period of structured, supervised work experience in a real workplace environment. Work placements are designed to provide students with hands-on experience, allowing them to develop practical skills, gain industry insights, and understand workplace expectations. It can be an essential component of many VET courses where students apply the knowledge and skills learned in their training to actual work situations. In some circumstances, work placement may be compulsory for your chosen VET course.

Depending on your pathway, your work placement may be recognised against your senior secondary certificate.
